Atom AMPD Enters into Licensing Agreement with China's SunFAS

CommVault is a data and information management software company dedicated to providing organizations worldwide with a radically better way to manage data and information. Atom AMPD, Volo, Illinois, has entered into a significant licensing agreement and partnership with China's SunFAS, located in Beijing and Nanning China to extend their unified platform for communications and office automation through the integration Relevant Products/Services of Atom AMPD's AtomOS software Relevant Products/Services operating system with SunFAS' Sky OA product. The agreement calls for SunFAS to launch Sky OA3 (networking, VoIP and monitoring) a brand extension to accommodate the combined systems. While this is the first alliance with a U.S. company by SunFAS, Dr. Hin Hiong Khoo, chairman of the holding company owning SunFAS, has worked with a number of U.S. alliances.

"Our relationship with SunFAS and its Sky OA product is a real coup for Atom AMPD and our AtomOS brand. It not only gives us access to the lucrative China market but also a relationship with a well-established Chinese company with one million users and 80 resellers," said Mr. Daniel Field, CEO of Atom AMPD.

Field notes that after meetings in China with key representatives of government, ministries, and universities, the Sky OA3 system will initially be used in key sectors logistics, telecommunications, and agriculture. He also noted that the software reduces the amount of hardware needed, which is in keeping with the Government's initiative to introduce "Green" solutions in China.

"AtomOS Kwick Key™ is a USB flash drive containing the Atom AMPD operating system. It provides an easy-to-use solution at a fraction of the cost of traditional networking and communication devices. Kwick Key™ transforms a standard server into a multi-functional networking and communication device. It can be installed in as little as 15 minutes and consolidates traditional high cost multi-box solutions to a single appliance, enabling the re-purposing of existing servers. This complements our ability to qualify as a green solution," explained Field. Atom AMPD currently serves U.S. markets in the sectors of K-12, universities, health Relevant Products/Services care, and Government entities.

"We were pleased to find a software partner that is able to enhance our software offerings. Adding the capabilities of Atom AMPD's AtomOS system will allow us to expand our market share in China and other Asian countries," said Dr. Hin Hiong Khoo, chairman of the SunFAS holding company. "We have spent over six months working together to be ready for a July, 2012 launch. During this time period, the graphics user interface (GUI) was converted to Mandarin, which clearly makes the product market ready in China and to Mandarin speakers in the U.S."
