Storage Networking World, Orlando, FL, April 13, 2010 -- RELDATA Inc., the innovation leader in unified block and file storage solutions over iSCSI, along with Super Micro Computer, Inc. (NASDAQ: SMCI), a leading provider of application-optimized server and storage solutions, today unveiled a next-generation, high-performance storage solution that combines technologies from both companies.

This new solution combines the leading-edge Supermicro storage hardware technology with RELvos, the purpose-built unified storage software from RELDATA.

Supermicro and RELDATA are demonstrating their current product offerings, plus a preview of their next-generation high-availability release, at Storage Networking World, April 12-14 in booth # 113. The demonstration will highlight the innovative deployment and integration of solid-state disks with the recently announced Intel Xeon 5600 Series processors, in combination with RELDATA's RELvos unified storage operating system, that will significantly enhance storage performance and high availability for hypervisor environments.

"Combining Supermicro's new storage bridge bay (SBB) system (SYS-6036ST-6LR) with leading software solutions facilitates ease-of-use and delivers a faster return on investment for customers," said Tau Leng, GM of Marketing at Supermicro. "We are excited to combine our hardware systems expertise, along with the latest advancements in disk drives, microprocessors and SSDs, with the performance and ease-of-use delivered by the RELDATA unified storage operating system which includes the company's integrated clustering, replication and data migration software. We believe this combination will significantly advance the state-of-the-art in unified storage systems data management and protection."

"Our customers have relied on the leading-edge Supermicro hardware as the foundation of our unified storage solutions," said Steven Murphy, CEO, RELDATA. "By working closely with Supermicro, our development teams are aligned toward the common goal to help companies improve storage utilization and increase performance to maximize their IT investments. Combining our technologies with the latest advancements in storage hardware will offer our customers best-in-class high-availability solutions with significantly improved storage performance that is now mandated to support consolidated hypervisor environments."
