today announced Group Manager, a new module of the company's online community platform that empowers the leaders of an organization's community groups -- formed around common interests, geographies or events -- to target, engage with and track the success of their particular groups. Associations have an average of 84 chapters or specialized groups, according to a 2016 benchmarking report from Mariner Management. These groups have significant influence on an association's overall performance, yet the report notes, 65 percent are staffed by part-time employees or member volunteers. Moreover, the report suggests "fragmented, disconnected or non-existent systems" prevent group leaders and the organization as a whole from obtaining the data they need to efficiently communicate and drive engagement, as well as assess individual group performance.
